Crossing the Threshold is a hybrid, 2 part series for BIPOC, Queer expectant families to commune, laugh, learn more about birth, and feel supported throughout their pregnancy. This space is SPECIFICALLY curated for Black, Indigenous and other people of color in NYC.
Day 1: Setting the Foundation

We will cover:
basics of understanding labor & birth from a holistic, autonomy-centered perspective
explore birth preferences
discuss advocacy tools when navigating medical spaces
Day 2: Honoring the Parent
Date & Time: Aug 12, 11am-2pm EST
Location: The People's Forum, 320 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018
In ceremony together, we will honor your transition from birthing person to parent to prepare you for birth. We will build a communal altar, cleanse ourselves, journal, move, drink tea and explore what parenthood means to you in a safe space.

By the end of our time together you will feel more confident in your ability to parent and ready to welcome your baby earthside.
